Structural timber and stress-graded timber.
Vida provides structural timber made from pine and spruce, profiles, tongued and grooved board and batten, space boards and impregnated pine in customised dimensions, lengths and grades.
The structural timber is specially graded and labelled for Europe, Japan, USA, Australia and our home market. Panels are planed into a wide range of profiles. Tongued and grooved board and batten are produced in most dimensions.
Demands vary from market to market, so dimensions, lengths and grades are therefore adapted to specific requirements. Large volumes are delivered bar-coded.
Spruce is the predominant type of wood, but a lot of pine is also used which works well in outdoor environments, and which also means adapting lengths and planing, and often impregnation.
A high degree of processing takes place at Vida’s technically advanced sawmills through planing, precision cutting, stress grading, finger-joining and impregnating.
Many of our customers are building manufacturers and roof truss factories around the world. The range also includes products such as CLS, TR26 (stress-graded roof truss timber) and other types of beams.
These products are sold all over the world with the largest markets for Vida being England, Sweden, Denmark, USA and Japan. Sideboards are predominantly made into tongued and grooved timber and batten for the European and Swedish markets.
Vida’s stress-graded structural timber is CE marked and comes with a declaration of performance.
