Suggested areas of use where Scandia 2000 produces an excellent result are: Brochures, books with text and lighter images, covers, folders, letter paper, posters, etc.
Printing methods
Suitable for printing in offset, book printing, flexography and letterset.
Printing inks suitable for uncoated paper should be used.
Repro
133 lines/inch (54 lines/cm) is a suitable screen density for Scandia 2000. Repro adjustment should be used as required.
Post-printing treatment
Scandia 2000 is well suited for binding with thread, staples and glue. The quality permits folding in all grammages.
Matters to consider
As it is an uncoated paper, it is less suitable for varnishing.
Product specifications
Scandia 2000 natural is an uncoated, wood-free paper. The paper is free from chlorine (TCF) and OBA and is resistant to ageing in accordance with ISO 9706. Scandia 2000 natural is available in the grammage range 90 to 300 g/m2.
Scandia 2000 natural 100 g/m2 is OCR-approved for the scanning system used by the Swedish PlusGiro.
Scandia 2000 is also available in the shade ivory and white.
