- VIDA Paper AB’s mill at Lessebo develops, manufactures, markets and sells speciality products in the fine papers sector of the industry.
- The company also manufactures wood pulp and converts both internally and externally generated materials.
- The environmental impact of the company’s operations is predominantly in the areas of air, water, waste and energy use and generation.
- We shall run our operations in accordance with ISO 14001 and maintain a rigorous system covering environmental and energy management. This shall include documented procedures, goals, action plans and regular transparent audits.
- At every stage of our operations, we shall work towards an holistic approach and the duel goals of minimising environmental loads whilst making careful use of natural resources and energy. We shall also encourage our suppliers to work in the same direction toward the same desirable goals.
- Based on the environmental and energy impact of our operations, our environmental and energy initiatives shall, from raw forestry products through to the consumer, be directed at continuous improvement via management by objectives.
- We shall document, maintain and communicate our environmental and energy management system throughout the organization and further to our suppliers and customers in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- We shall keep the control of our carbon footprint, emission of greenhouse gases and general impact on the environment at the central focus of our commercial activities and our commitment to the future of the company.
