See also Colorit for office use.
Printing methods
Colorit is suitable for printing in offset, letterpress, screen printing, inkjet and laser. The printing ink should be intended for uncoated paper.
Colorit is preprint adapted for printing in offset with subsequent use in laser printers, copiers, inkjet printers or faxes. For pre-printing, the use of heat resistant ink is recommended.
For screen printing in several colours, higher grammages from 120 g/m2 and upwards are recommended.
Reproduction
A suitable screen density is 120 l/inch (48 l/cm). The choice of image and text should be adapted to suit the shade and colour strength of the paper. Text and light images work best. Paper in light colours gives the best readability, while dark colours demand larger and wider fonts. Repro adaptation to be used as necessary.
Finishing
Colorit is suitable for gluing, thread binding and stapling. In higher grammages, from 160 g/m2 and upwards, the paper should be scored before folding.
Colorit also works excellently for various types of embossing.
To consider
Remember that the colour of the paper affects the printed colour and adapt the choice of image to this. Colorit is not suitable for conventional varnishing. For special results, UV varnishing is suggested, but this must be preceded by base inking. For best results, please contact the varnish supplier.
Grammages above 120 g/m2 are suitable for laminating. Before laminating, a trial lamination should be carried out.
